COMMENT
—————————————————————–
Undoubtedly the big story from the weekend which will be mopped-up
today is the the most serious computer virus attack for 18 which
slammed the breaks on the Internet and closed some automatic teller
machines. The attack – dubbed ‘SQL Slammer’ – started in Saturday
night.. And its not over yet – the FT reports that some computer
security experts said it was possible that another version SQL
Slammer could yet emerge. The story has great timing, as developers
are reportedly turning to Linux in greater numbers.
