SPEAKING / MODERATING
As a journalist and technology commentator, I’m sometimes asked to speak at various events. I’ve been told I have an entertaining, witty delivery, which gets a crowd interested and intrigued in a range of topics around technology, tech entrepreneurship, and the future. As a moderator, I have interviewed Tony Blair, Dmitry Medvedev, Kevin Spacey, Lily Cole, Telegram founder Pavel Durov and many other tech leaders and celebrities, as well as the world’s top business leaders at WEF/Davos. I have appeared on stage at TechCrunch Disrupt, Web Summit, and other major tech conferences for the past 14 years, becoming familiar with the entire tech industry.
2020/2021: Virtual Events
In 2020, as a virtual host and moderator, I have appeared at various events including TechCrunch Disrupt, and the Horasis Leadership Events. In 2021 I will be continuing to offer professional moderation and MC services to virtual events. I am familiar with many virtual event platforms and have a professional AV set-up.

Speaker Remuneration
Because of the high volume of requests I get to speak, I only seriously consider events where I am remunerated for my time (i.e. there is a speaker fee). I may contribute ‘pro bono’ to charitable or non-profit events on a case-by-case basis, depending on my schedule, and if it fits my non-profit work or campaigning.
What you can expect:
• A personal phone consultation to assess the audience and topic.
• An announcement on my private blog and social media channels.
• A solid, entertaining presentation
• A follow-up communication after the event to give feedback
• I cannot – in any way – offer a promise of coverage for your event on the news sites for which I write.
